Our digital prepress department at TigerPress operates with the best leading edge equipment and technology that the commercial printing industry can offer. Our goal is to ensure that you receive the highest quality possible for your project.
What is digital prepress? Prepress marks the beginning of the production process for every print project. When we receive electronic files prepress includes any revisions, proofs and other additional steps made to translate these digital files to the actual printing process.
We can accept files via Web Transfer, CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM.
Our latest (computer to plate) platesetter lets us produce plates without dot gain, meaning we end up with clearer and more colorful high-resolution images than ever before. We also use an advanced workflow system to keep track of jobs. All files that are sent through prepress are digitally imposed with preps.
At TigerPress, we have adapted the industry standard GRACoL (General Requirements for Applications in Commercial Offset Lithography) specifications established by the Graphic Communications Association (GCA) to improve communications between printers, and those producing artwork for print production.
